XFX 680I LT + Q8400 = Happy?

So I have been looking around and I want to upgrade, I know that a Q8200 can work on this board (bee researching around and tiger even sold it as a bundle) but could the Q8400 work on this board too?

I heard sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. But of course I was researching the DFI 680i board since thats what I have. Apparently it's very quirky about C2Q's. I honestly wouldn't chance it.
