XFX question

Ok, here is my question. On www.xPCgear.com they have two XFX 7800 GTX, one is factory overclocked and the other is stock. Why is it that the factory overclocked it actaully CHEAPER than the stock?

are u talking about the first two in the list? if u are, the original price of the oced vid card is actually more than the non oced card. but it is on sale, prob b/c they dont sell as well as the non oced card, or b/c they have too many oced cards and need to get rid of them, thereby making them more appealing to the comsumer by making it a lwoer price than the non oced card. *phew- long one there *

overclocking makes the hardware run alot faster thus making it alot hotter and its life span alot shorter than non overclocked hardware

the temperature of a transistor means nothing to the lifespan ( except frying it ofcourse ) because it are no mechanicly moving parts.
the only things that move in a transistor are the electrons.
