so iev got my bday present from a friend working and put in a gigabyte GTX 550Ti graphics card so it can play minecraft and just play TF2 (stupid core 2 duo =s:rolleyes:) and am already to upgrade the rest of the computer for xmas, my budget is under 350 and i have the list so far(i am a noob so cut me some slack i haven't had much help with this)
1. MOBO http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7711
2.CPU http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7099
3. RAM http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7260

im not getting a new hardrive so I can afford the better motherboard and CPU and should be fine with only 80gb the prices are the cheapest I can get them and i go to this dealer directly so no shipping. So could anyone change this list make one of their own, (preferably using the same site as i am but doesnt have to be reason is im in AUS so shipping can be a pain from US) and in general just fine tune this list to the best they can thanks :D:D

The list that you have looks good.. Otherwise, if you want to upgrade the HDD, I would go this route:

Motherboard: http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7434
HDD: http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7434

My friends and I have always had issues with ASUS motherboards. They make quality GPU's, but we always seem to get flaky motherboards from them. We have either used ASRock, Gigabyte, or MSI for motherboards. I highly recommend ASRock. They used to make cheap stuff, but when they branched off into their own company, they gained a lot in Quality Control. I run a Home Server on an ASRock, LAMP server on ASRock, and my gaming computer on ASRock. Haven't had an issue since I started using them 2 years ago.

would wait for the list as a new amd cpu coming out soon and supposed to be a great jump towards or past intel speed wise, also get a 2500k, for a few bucks you get a unlocked multiplier meaning overclocking like hell man, also if you want to do that you will need a p67 not h61, z68 is also prefered too. and with a new mobo means you will need to contact windows as the os is liscenced to the current motherboard, so will have to be transfered, good to check that ahead of time.

^^ licensing lol not going to need that with the windows 7 were running, it isnt exactly valid XD, but after much deliberation with a guy at a shop im thinking of getting a mobo that will fit to graphics cards so i can do an SLI bridge, but what graphics cards would fit in my case that have to slots and would fit a i5k? http://www.google.com.au/imgres?q=M...tbnw=134&start=65&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:65 thats my case on the left, yes its a POS, but i really dont care what it looks like, its all about performance to me.

any case will fit the cpu, and we'd have to know the length of the case to say if a gpu will or won't, but that case is going to have no airflow, both from lack of fans and lack of cable management.
