Xonar DX and Z-5500

The Asusu Xonar DX (little brother) and the Logitech Z-5500 (Bad-as*) are primed to be leading my audio army... what is the CF consensus on these bad boys? From all accounts that i can find the DX is comparable to the D2X which is the "best in the market" ... any decenters ?

I've had my Z-5500s for about 3 years now and I still love them. I did manage to rip the cone off the voice coil and Gorilla glued it back on, yay, and it still sounds great. Don't let that deter you, for the subwoofer to rupture like mine did...you would have to have it loud enough for China to hear it...
Basically it has a volume knob but once you get to max, it can goes up to 11 levels higher than max....not recommended, and thats what can cause destruction.

I have the Asus Xonar D2/PM and have had nothing but problems with it and I've tried Asus support which was useless. I also use the Z5500"s and their great. I 'm trying to sell my Xonar and I'm going to buy this one ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829271003 ).
