XP and SATA drive...

Will this hard drive with this mobo run XP Home Edition 32Bit SP3 fine? The reason I ask is that I've heard from some places that XP has bad support for SATA drives.

If its SP2/3 you will be fine. Most Sata driver problems were from the original XP disk. If not you can just slipstream your sata drives to yor CD or just use the F6 promp with a floppy. I,ve install XP on a many AMD 700 series chipset and never had a problem. Just update all the boards drivers after you install XP.
