XP and Vista same drive

If my understanding is correct then i can have XP and vista on the same drive for the same computer? is this correct?

The question that i have is reagarding partitioning. i have a already partitioned hdd on a 160gb internal laptop drive. the partition is 155gb and a 4gb partition. please dont ask why cos i dont actually know :p

so what process would i need to undertake to partition them equally? would i have to format and make one partition then format again and make 2 partitions.

Or could i just partition it once and make a 80gb drive and then i'd have a spare 80gb.

also how would i partition the drive? i want XP and Vista on the same drive.

Thanks :D

Too late now, but if I were you I'd pick up a spare drive and put one OS on each drive... changing the MBR can get messy, at least I don't like doing it..
