Double Windows problem..

I have just got my PC assembled 3 months back. It was working fine then. 1 month back I took my PC to BYOC(LAN party) maybe somebody there altered my PC registry as I had many of the user capabilities disabled like i was not able to hide/unhide folders, the internet gave many problems(couldn't log into some sites like windows, etc).

There's was only one solution in my mind reinstall windows, as I did. Now the problem comes after this solution. I don't know I was acting stupid or careless I installed windows on other partition i.e. I had windows installed on C:/ but I installed it on D:/ now again a stupid thing to do I formatted D:/ drive. Now the problem is how do I uninstall the windows on D:/?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not getting this. You formatted D:/ drive and want to remove Windows on D:/ drive.

But you've formatted D:/ therefore Windows shouldn't exist now

just put the windows install disc in, and then install it on C:/

during the installation you can format other partitions (D:/), or after you install windows on C:/ you can format D:/ in the windows disc manager.

I tried doing that but the screen keeps popping up to select either of the windows. The one pops at the beginning. I think it's problem with the registry because I deleted the partition D:\ and when I started it again pops up?? wtf.

go to registry and make sure it is set to boot from cd drive first. then boot from the install disk. then you can format all the drives. and start from a clean install.
