Xp home edition and XP professional?

XP Pro has a few more features, looks prettier, and is more expensive. And a cooler name. Thats all if you are just talking about the x86 version, but thats prob what you are talking about.

How does it look "prettier"?

Sorry, ive never really noticed many differences, so i was generalizing.
 
Windows XP itself looks pretty(ish) at first, but get's really boring after a while...
If you want a nice looking desktop, just go with Linux.
I have something against microsoft in general.. it may have something to do with my downloading a 3GB file from them only for it not to work...
