I recently started work for a company who have a mix of xp home and professional. they wish to upgrade the remaining home machines to professional and i was hoping to find out how the liscencing would work for this scenario.
they have a mixture of xp and home machines with approx three srevers from which they share resources on a workgroup enviroment. i am going to help them convert to a full active directory domain enviroment and will configure per user lisencing. what i am not sure of is when i upgrade the computers to xp. doi i buy a single installation disk with multiple lisences or will it be an image that i can copy to multiple macines? and do these upgrade liscences cover the full operating system. as you suggested i have searched the internet and it is not very clear.
