XP Home VS XP Pro

I currently have XP Pro but my HDD is small. I was wondering, if I switch to XP Home would I save space and how much?
What would I loose by downgrading, anything important?

XP Pro is supposed to be better on the security front, if I were you I'd stick with what you've got.

The main difference is that Pro :
1.)will allow you to connect to a larger LAN,
2.)will allow you to make system recovery discs, and
3.)gives you more options for multi-user systems.
You will not save much, if any, hard disc space if you switch

AFAIK, they take equal space after installation. XP HOME is supposed to be used as name signs in home, and XP PRO suite is better in bussines. The are many limitation in XP HOME, but one the most important if you want to use it in work is, that XP HOME do not support domains. Only workgroups.

and what i think most important is that xp home does not support repairing...

if u have some files scrawed up cause any reason (virus, bad app installation etc') pro allow u to repair windows operation system files while the home addition does not...
