Hi,

I set a custom logon screen with Style xp but when i remove style Xp i forgot to set it back to the default xp logon screen.

So now im stuck with it,Is there a way i can change my logon screen back to default?

Im using Xp Pro sp2.
Thanks.:D

why not just reinstall style xp for say 2 minutes, change it back then uninstal it again, lol

well, yeh, i would have thought that would be the first thing anyone would try, but you never know.... ok, 2nd on the lst is go find another program to change boot/logon screens with, but im too lazy to go and find one for you, so try System Restore instead, to a time before you changed it

I found a program called Logon recovery.

Its now restored it back to the Default Xp logon.

Thanks anyway for your help :)

You can always change your logon screen by editing following HKEY in the registry :
HKEY_USERS \ .DEFAULT \ Control Panel \ Desktop and modifying the value for Wallpaper (REG_SZ)

I'm a little late, I know, but there's Logon Studio which I used, it's free, and it works. I was bored so I made all my boot screens look like Vista...
My actual Vista install looks better, but...
Logon Studio does have a button (on the main screen as soon as you start) to restore your default settings. Just hoping to help someone else who may not be able to find that other program...
