XP Media Center Reboot Issues

Hi,
I have recently rebooted my desktop (Acer) with the XP Media Center disk that it was brought with. Unfortuantly i had lost the Product ID so had to use one I had found online. I havent yet installed the Service Pack 2 but will proceed to do so.
Installshield does not work and leaves error, and Internet Explorer does not appear. Anyone got any ideas, as this has happened on two different desktops now.
 
Look on the case of the computer for a sticker that has the 25 digit key on it. You can't use a key that you got online, thats illegal. You may need to contact Acer if there is no sticker on the case.
