Xp on Mac

i just read about that, looks very interesting, if only macs would allow osx to be run on pc's, now that would be great!

Lee :D

that was kinda inevitable following the move from PowerPC to Intel, kinda expecting it... good none the less, although still quite useless cos i hate macs, so i would never be buying one anyone...

OK, that settles it... Macs are DOOMED :P

No, really...what's the point of purchasing a mac anymore if they can run PC software? Next thing you know, they'll be preloaded with windows instead of Mac OS!

to me this jsut spells out that macs cant survive with just their own OS, what, is it not good enough for the mighty Apple Corp any more, they have to go running to a stronger OS (windows)...?? or is mac finally admitting that their software base and product span is crap, so they are opening up EVERY software title in the world (from windows) to work on a mac...

poor show from apple, sucks of "if you cant beat 'em, join 'em" doesnt it....

as you can probably tell i dont like apple all that much, call me a fanboy if you will, but its a fanboy im rather proud to be.

it seems like a last ditch effort to keep their business afloat... pretty soon mac will just stop making os's and make pc's compatible with microsoft software, it's pretty much inevitable it seems...

it's pretty much inevitable it seems...
that reminds me of something i just said.... lol, j/k

but yeh, def not a good move, i can see all the die hard mac fans now, sobbing with their head in their hands.... lol, life is sweet...!! no, seriously, if you are a real mac fan, are you happy or sad, is this a good move or not, i hate mac (not ultra keen on windows, but hey). where you expecting it, all my opinions are biased towards anything that isnt mac, no matter what it is.... so a callout to all REAL MAC FANS, what do you think of this...??

yeah i'm sorry dragon2309... i could have just said "yeah i agree" but i thought i'd state an opinion too... and also i've looked into dual booting os x and xp on the same comp... and i kinda think it's cool... but chances are i'll stick with microsoft all the way... they have the support, design and other things i prefer...

ok, i know a little about computers, how 2 take them apart etc., but what is the difference between a Mac. and a regular computer?
