XP or Win 98 scandisk: which do you like?

Which ScanDisk utility do you like better, Windows 95/98/ME or the XP version? I like the 98 because it actually told you if there were any errors and if it fixed them. It was also a real window (it could be minimized), unlike the popup in XP. Every computer I've run the XP check on takes forever and a day to close, also.

I'd like your opinions, just cause.
 
more visual preference things under appernce, more applications right off the bat etc. 98 sadly beats xp if on a decent computer. just as xp owns vista as of now.
 
True the Win98 showed you more of what was going when you scanned from within Windows. But if you reboot and run it with XP, it shows alot more detailed information as to whats wrong and whats being fixed.
