xp pro to vista ult. upgrade

Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my pc from xp pro. to vista pro and when the searching for updates before installatio. I get a error saying that potential
issues pevent istallation to complete. thu I did it before on the same pc without any problem. but a virus messed-up my my pc. I went and bouth a new mainboard (Gygabyte 741m combo), hd, and set of rams (ddr3-1066)
used my old cpu intel dual core (775 socket lga).

PS.
when installation stops it give code error 967752
what can be causing the problem?

If that error is correct you have a driver issue. However, I would do a fresh install of vista instead of doing an upgrade. You will need to boot to the vista install dvd and install that way. Back up any important data beforehand.
