XP Pro, x64 edition

I intend on buying a high-spec comp, and am wondering if this 64-bit version of Windows XP is much better. I intend on using the new comp mainly for games, and am just not sure whether to get this OS or not.

wont really make a performance difference. 64 bit os will just allow you address more memory in the future. But for your purposes it doesn't matter
