So my computer was running well on XP and I bought Vista and tried to multiboot, and I ended up not being able to even load XP anymore. Vista loaded up but when I got to which drive to install Vista I got this message
"Unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation... "
So, I decided to go back to repairing XP that didnt work. Right now i'm trying to start all over and install xp.
I popped in the XP CD and I get to the setup screen an click enter to "set up windows now", then i click F8 to agree with terms. I formatted everything and created an NTFS partition.
Now I click install, and this messgae comes up
You chose to install windows xp on partition that contains another operating system. installing XP might cause the other OS to function improperly
So i Press "C" to continue and it asks me to format and i do. then it reboots and XP config starts up again and takes me through the whole process again of asking me to install. I just did that. Over and over its taking me through a cycle of the samething. I JUST WANT TO FORMAT EVERYTHING AND START OVER
Please help anyone
