XP Problem

Hi...

i have pc using xp os pack 2, there are 3 users logon available, 1 admin n 2 limited privileges user.....sometime when i log in as user the pc hang after at log in to windows...all the taskbar...n everything in the desktop except the wallpaper can't appear...so it just hang on the wallpaper....n whn i log in as admin also happen like that...is that something wrong with the os?
I don't want to do re-installation...or format....please help me what should i do to repair the os?

Probably something with the startup files. Typically such problems are network related. I know my laptop, if I have a certain program set to come up for my Wireless NIC, it will freeze for about 3 minutes until it finally decies to "time-out". If you have one account that still works, compare the startup processes found using Hijackthis.
