my uncle bought XP Home Editon and XP Pro SP2 off ebay, got them tonight, tryed 2 install them, and it said the key was invalid , on both XP's , soo how would he go about getting a valid key? ...

he probably got pwned by the seller, either the selling is still using those keys or he's sharing those key like crazy.

try calling microsoft since if you have the retail cd maybe you can get a new key or something.

Was the cd and code sealed in the retail packaging? Did the CD and CD Key have a hologram on it?

no, it had no box, it came in a little plastic cd case, with the product key on the back of it..

lol. He got taken I'm afraid.. The Ebay seller violated the EULA. I guess it happens.
