XP restarts after logo

I went into add or remove programs to repair some Kodak software, it "repaired" the software then asked me to restart XP, so I did. It got to the XP logo and then the screen goes black and XP restarts, it does this over and over. I ran chkdsk on it, used a program called testdisk to try and fix the MBR but nothing, I still have the same problem.

I'm guessing you have errors on the hard drive itself and would need to be repaired by running the hard drive makers disk diagnostic program.
