hi,
on XP at startup, how do you stop certain applications from opening?
there is three applications in particular that i want to stop; windows messenger, intervideo home theatre, and sony ericsson phone software. none of them open up fully in a window on the desktop, but the icons appear in the taskbar at the bottom right next to the clock.
if i right click on them i have the option to 'exit', but i want to stop them from openeing completely at startup because it is slowing down the startup, and i rarely use any of them straight away once my computer has started up anyway.
thanks for any help,
regards, monoman
