can you have one copy of windows xp on 2 different computers simultaneously? once i get the other computer up and running i plan to delete the copy on the old computer and replace with windows 2000, but i'd rather not do that until the new computer is up and running. possible?

That’s not entirely true; there are licenses that you can buy where you are allowed to install multiple times. However those are more for large corporations or schools not individual users.

And discussion of installing a regular license on more than one computer is illegal and against forum rules I recommend ceasing this discussion.
