Hi all
I started having probs on my hard drive so I decided to re-install XP Home. I took out the HDD and installed a 160GB from a old desktop just to do a test run and everything went perfectly. So I formatted my original HDD (640GB) in an external case and re-installed it and loaded XP Home with no problems. Then a week later it won't boot, it does the windows loading screen but then stays black and not going onto the log on screen. I'm currently using the 160GB and all is good. What is going on. Help.
