yet anohter question about my "dodgy 6600gt"

i have jsut looked on 3d mark o5

whne i look on details and go down to my graphics card it says that the VGA Core Clock is only 9.7mhz when i look on my dads pc which only has a 9600xt card it says his VGA Core Clock is 425mhz. is this right? because i thought my VGA Core Clock should be around 300 2s and 500 3d?

anyone???
 
a 6600gt should have a core speed of 500Mhz. There must be something wrong with the 3DMark Details since there is no way that it can operate at 9.7Mhz. Does it say the same thing with 3DMark03 or PCMark05?

Yeah that has got to be wrong. You would not have a working card at that frequency. Try installing the 2005 patch from the official website. As I have mentioned before, your clock speed will either read 300 for 2D and 500 for 3D.

in 3d mark 03 it is still 9.7 mhz. but when i look on my graphics settings it says that my 3d settings are 500 and 1000

does anyone know what an average score for my system is on either 3d mark 03 or 05
