Hi, I'm new, and I see you guys get tons of threads like this, but I'm a noob at this and I need help. I'm trying to build a decent gaming rig, but I've never been a pc gamer, and I've never built a computer. I'm not worrying about accessories yet, but I'll be getting Windows 7. I plan to use my 720p LCD TV as a monitor to save money, that should work if I have an HDMI cable, right? I've got a build laid out at around my budget, but I'm new at this, so I have a few questions.
1. Will this computer actually work? I don't want to pay for all these parts only to find out I've made some horrible mistake and the computer won't even operate.
2. Are these the best parts for the price? If I could make this computer better without dramatically increasing the price, or if you could save me money without decreasing quality, I'd appreciate the advice.
3. How well will this run games like The Witcher 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead 2? (and maybe a few other games with 2's at the end, lol)
4. Will I need anything else, like fans and such?
Any other advice you guys can give would be awesome, so thanks in advance. Here's my list of parts:
