Hey can all u people with 3870 GPUs tell me your computer specks an what FPS u get, doing a benchmark if so what test? or even better, what FPS u get playing what games?

for my rig :
Oblivion - 40-60 frames (all depending on what is going on action wise)
Bioshock - 50
crysis - 25-40
WoW - 60+
Farcry (last gen, I know -- but its still a somewhat demanding game ;) ) 60+

Im looking to get one of these, anyone know the power requirements...Iv looked online and cant find any.

looks like a great card i was just having 2end thourts about getting this card but im deffently gonn go ahead an get it first thing next month.
just 2 more questions the shop im getting it from has theses 3 brands to chose from
HIS
Gigabyte
ASUS
what one should i get im leaning towards the ASUS but your thourts will be great on them brands.
Q2
how cool do these cards idle an how hot do they get
thanks

mine idle is about 37*C. mine's overclocked a bit though, so on load gets up to about 70 after several hours of gaming. and personally, I've had problems with HIS cards before... like advertising a 512mb card that was really a 256 with "hyperthreading technology"... didnt quite like that, so I stay away from them, but the ASUS has gotten good reviews. I got mine from Palit on tigerdirect.

I got the Asus EAH3870 myself, and I must say, i do like it.
plays Bioshock maxed out (@1280x 1024) with DX10 textures enabled etc, flawlessly.

the reason i went for the 3870 over the 8800GT/GTS were basicly the (much) lower power consumtion levels. on idle this card uses much less than the 8800's (under full load it goes about par).

with everything on stock speeds I got 11000 points in 3dmark06 btw
