Your opinion about my site.

Hi,i made my first web site recently...and i want your opinion about it.The design maybe isn't very good,but what about the central idea?From the until now small attendance of visitors,i think it acquires an interesting form.What do you think?
Any comments or observations are useful. :)

not bad for the first time.
you know a lil bit about php.

when you post a comment it goes to a new page. dont do that, use iFrame to make it easier. also when you send a "link location"
When you click on the contact button: dont use mailto.
create a new page and there write your email adress, tel(opt.) etc.. not every one uses email programs. and also its better. you can make a form if you want.
 
The site's idea is pretty slick. Yeah, the background needs some work because black is just boring... Maybe a font change too. I make sites too and I notice all of this but once you get that going it'll look real nice. I like the computer section. Some nice sites you got there.
 
if i write about the design i vote it 0,5 from 10
do not use many colors in your sites.
ex:
if you bg i gray, choose the colors white and the links green, lemon green.
if your bg is white choose your text black and gray, links black bold,
there is no rules for these stuff,
in time you will learn how to have a good looking site that does not make the visitors borig or tired or tired twith eyes.
make your site as simple as possible.

Alexandergre your comments are very useful i think.Above the button "send link location" You see some links.These have been sent by clicking this button,simply if you saw something interesting as i said at "about" :)

What does it mean slick? :)
At computer section most links have been sent this month.At the begginng added i 4-5 indicatively.
 
All I can say is that the black background makes it look a little "cheap." Maybe a pattern would work better. Otherwise its good.
 
I have to agree with Starwarsman.... the black background does look cheap.
Perhaps as he says put a light patten on it, and put a frame around the main section of the page to make it look like it is floating infront of the background.

And i have to agree with Alexandergre too. I hate websites auto link to my email program!

Re the submitting section, perhaps include a filed for the "Type" or "Topic" of the link so that it is easier for you to sort it when adding them.

Also, have a look at www.stumbleupon.com for some ideas. It is a browser plug-in for IE & FF that does the exact same thing as your site....however it requires you to install a toolbar, which is where your site would have an advantage for those that dont want to install anything.
You could also aquire alot of links from it to add to your site.

Oh.... and how about i nice big graphical link to Computer Forum.com on your page :D

From your answers i understood that design isn't very good.It's my first site and i will try to improve it.I'm very very happy that you like the idea of site.What about daily proposals??I beleive it's interesting if someone saw something "good" to share it,easily by clicking the button. :)
Scrat.. be sure tommorow computerforum.com will be at top of the forum-list at computer section. :) :)
 
I think your sites okay but looks a little too plain....

Τhank you for your answers, most concerned design and I intend progressively to improve it, I am glad that you liked also the central idea of site.How do you find the content of "daily proposals" section??I beleive it's interesting if someone saw something "good" to share it,easily by clicking the button.have you propose to me some change or to add something at this section or generally in the content of the site? :)
 
its is not compatible with firefox, you should try both firefox, IE, and some other web browsers while you made this site.
The design is much better.

I dont like the menu in the very end of the page. its kina dirty.
the link in the very up( Site Name :: Site Slogan). What that? remove it. and also the link doesnt work.

The site is compatible with firefox I.E. Opera.I have tested it. :)
