Nice setup, the 600W should be plenty. I think a Beta 2 version of Vista has already been released. Asus boards are generally good. What was the total price it came to anyway?

lol thanks guys i have considerd windows vista but not to sure and the total costs was 1067£ :( lol but money well spent i can play all my games on ultra high graphics and all... no lag whatsoever nice work on gettin 4400+ it was 4400+ or 4000+ and i thought might aswell get duel core... you guys got any favorite os you could recommend because im sick of home and windows 64 sounds really buggy i think i will go with pro i have home on it now but im waiting for my dad to get me my wd raptor 74gb

The main difference between Home and Pro is that Pro has a more advanced netowkring capabilities. There are toher differences but none that you're likely to notice. The thing with X64 is that there isn't alot of 64bit drivers yet. Especially for things like scanner, printers and webcams.

It may have low amps, especially on the +12V Rail(s). If you could post a link to the power supply or case, it would help us out.

As for the operating system, Windows XP Home is fine for a personal computer, but if you require login into a domain, or plan on using the computer for advanced networking uses, the get XP Professional.

XP Pro x64 does have many driver issues, especially with off-brand parts such as some modems or network cards. There are also issues with some 32-Bit programs and/or games.

As for Vista, it's being released to large corporations this November, but is scheduled to be released to the general public early-mid next year. Or you can download the free Vista Beta 2 from Microsoft's website, which is good until January 2007.
