How does youtube make money from the videos that youtubers post ? I know that youtubers are getting paid by youtube, based on how many people view the videos . What I don't know is ,how is youtube making it's money, from which it pays the people posting the videos ? It must be from advertising but sometimes I don't see any advertising on these videos.

Google makes its money from the ads they display, on YouTube and pay the content creators a percentage. They do not get paid for subscribers or likes or anything like that. If there is a no advertising shown on the video than I am fairly sure the content creator would not be paid.

You have to have a minimum of 50 subscribers to be considered for a 3rd party. They enable ads and then take their share.

By default, you do not have advertisments and many people choose not to show ads if there's product placement or copyrighted material in the video.

Some you tubers also have links to a product they are reviewing in the description below, for which they receive a small commission on each sale.
