ZoneAlarm blocking intrusions

Well yes... Hungary, and Russia were on that list. I'm not in the US, no... and we have already tried to get a router but right now there really is no point since I'll be shifting base in a couple of months. I thought the IP address change would fix things. I can't think of anything else to do except.... wait :p

Something similar happened once before, but a simple restart fixed that. This is entirely new.

Most likely not, because when you are getting hit, it is typically the whole subnet range. For example, at work when I want to evaluate a subnet, I would scan ranges

10.0.0.1 ~ 10.10.100.254

Your ISP only has a limited range of IPs it can assign to you, and people who are doing such scans are probably scanning the whole subnets. Sniffing around for anything they can exploit.

I looked up that IP earlier and it comes from a business in CA, USA.
