I guess if you're just trying to blow cash it's ok. But as I've said before I'd drop the Mobo down to the EVGA 680i SLI mobo for $250. I'd drop the CPU down to E6600. Screw the Dominator ram too. You won't see the anything special just get some good Corsair Ram. The Hd's are good but I'd get the 320GB versions myself. I'd also drop 1 8800GTX unless you're doing TRUE HD gaming at above 25xx X 20XX resolutions. Show us the monitor you're planning on getting or have. By following my suggestions you'd SAVE $1419. You can get my 37" HD LCD for that from newegg.com!

or you could dream about the system I spec'd in my sig...

the R600 is SUPPOSED to perform 75% better then the R80s, Crossfire them up... plus I have a quad core processor spec'd

All this for 4k

can sum1 compose a list of base PC component that would be that fastest one as of this moment.

That won't work...the hard drives are SCSI...so you need a mobo that supports SCSI, or a controller card.

For the "ultimate" computer get the QX6700. Even if you don't need it.
For that price, you should just get OCZ VX DDR2-1000 RAM or Mushkin Redline DDR2-1000.
What resolution are you playing at? If it's anything less than 1900x1200, the 2 8800gtx are giong to go to waste.
The EVGA 680i board for $250 is pretty much just as good as that one.
Why get SATA drives when you can get SCSI?
Make a RAID 0/1 or 10 with 15k SCSI drives.

This is for a desktop. For a server look at Praetor's $80,000 rig. :D

I think two 8800GTX is a waste of money unless if someone want to play games at 2560x1600

or you could dream about the system I spec'd in my sig...

From where do you get these information ???

The R600 supposed to be better but not by 75% !!!!!

And we are saying that it is supposed to be better. But we need to wait for R600 to see which is better

For the "ultimate" computer get the QX6700. .

The QX6700 is just waste of money. And since there is no game in the market that can take the advantage of quad core then EX6800 is better for gaming
