It did for me! I upgraded from a vanilla 6800 to the 7900 GS and got a huge increase as well. I went from 2855 with the 6 series card to 4544 with the 7900. I'm running a Pentium D 930, 3.0Ghz.

I figured I'd get a decent boost but that's over 50%. I'll take it any day.

It has higher quality pre rendered videos on it, thats why its large.
