Vista 64 versus 32: Resource/Use Question

Just curious, does the 64-bit Vista use/require more resources than the 32-bit version?

Also, I mainly use my PC for internet, e-mail and photo storage. Is there really any advantage I gain using 64-bit over 32-bit? I may re-format soon and I have the option of 32 or 64 bit so just thought I'd ask. Feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It does use a little bit more memory than 32-bit, I mean 50-100mb max. The benefits of having more memory and using all 64-bits of your CPU more than outweigh that minor con.

I might go with the 64 bit version, you have to totally reformat to install it right?
Can't just upgrade it?

Most 64 Bit versions of Operating Systems are resource hogs, depending on your system specifications. Why not post up the specs of your system?
