Linux vs Windows

Which do you prefer?
Linux OS or Windows OS

Its about the OS in general. Not just say windows 95 machine is better than Linux or vise versa. But as an OS on the whole, which do you think is better?

you want a definite answer ? do a search in Operating Systems, or even google search

You can't just say which one is better, there are pro's and con's. There is no definite answer since those are two different OS-s with...well another purpose.

It seems that this thread would be a great one for PC Eye

Windows is my preferred operating system because it does everything I need it to do, and it does it well.
I have had Ubuntu, however, and I like what they are doing. Giving out free operating systems to individuals.
But like I've said, Windows is my choice.

I couldn't tell you which one is better because it depends entirely on what you want to use it for.

Windows and the only reason is because it supports all the games out there and iknow how to use it.
if Linux could run ALL windows games out the box i would love to use Open Suse as a main Os.
