Really need some help

i just got a new case today. The Apevia X and i pulled out everything from my old case put it in my new one but when turned it on it started and almost got to where the desktop started but it shut down. then i tried again and now it turns on but nothing comes up on the screen and it will run for about 15-20 seconds then shut off. can anyone help me?
 
You didnt put a standoff where one didnt belong and shorting the board out? Got your 4/8 pin CPU power connector plugged in? Got the video card power connector plugged in? Maybe reset the bios and try again.

yes i have all that. how do u reset the bios? is that just takin the cmos battery out because i did that 2. but now ive been messin wit it a lil bit and now wen i turn it on it stays on but nothing is on the screen and it seems like it restarts itself every 5-10 seconds.
 
ok i figured it out. it was my cmos i just didnt leave it out long enough for everything to reset. everything is workin fine now
 
Here at CF it seems that mods only close threads when the thread involves Macs vs. PCs (or any other religion for that matter) or when fortyways has been posting...
