With this setup you can play Nothing. Maybe some of those Free games you get with a Happy meal but, thats it.

harsh! but KINDA true. you can definetely play games but you'll have to play them at kinda low settings and they might lag then too. i recommend elder scrolls IV Oblivion. you will have to turn the settings way down but its a great game, better than morrowind in my books!

You could always visit the RETRO scene and play all the old AMSTRAD,SPECCY,COMMODORE,SEGA games via emulators;)

But discussion of emulators is not allowed on these wonderful forums. So to avoid having this thread locked, lets not continue down that path.

To the OP, you probably want to get a new vid card, ram at the very least. I would recomend looking into a new computer if youre aiming to get into gaming (and playing games released recently.)

However, by the nature of the games you listed in your original post (older games), you may enjoy Warcraft 3 and that might run on your current system. Im sure theres other good older games.

I never mentioned any websites and only illegal if you don't own the original ROMS( AFAIK)
Still...... he did say newer games and not older ones!!

so he will need to update the system specs as suggested :)

*bangs head on desk*
sorry.

Soldier of Fortune and SOFII Double Helix :)

Don't even THINK about SOFIII , The specs are SO high even SLI/Crossfire gamers are/were reporting framerate issues!!!!!

And SOFIII is nowhere near SOF and SOFII, not in my opinion at least. I thought it was one of the worst games I've ever played.

Take it old school, find you a copy of Duke Nukem 3D, doom, older stuff like that. Kuz buddy, that onboard video aing gonna do much for anything within the past few years. If you have an AGP slot, or less likely a PCI-e slot, getcha a new video card.
With your current setup you may be able to play some of the newer games, but they will likely lag and look so horrible that you will not be happy at all and wont care to play em. You can get a decent AGP card

I have a copy of Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, and man it was a good game. Too bad I can't get it to work on XP.
