There is a mod that enables multiplayer, it's a bit buggy but it works.

g4m3rof1337 had already posted the Google search results and unfortunately I hadn't updated but can't hurt to have a direct link to the mod.

Red Alert 2 is also a great LAN game and it's cheap.

Ive had fun with World in Conflict and Company of Heroes at LANS
CSS is always good and CoD (both 2 and 4)

Yeah, that was the one of the links I bookmarked. I may give it a go, or look around for a more updated version.
