90 day step up program

The gtx 280's would prolly give you smoother gameplay and more support, as some games as you probably know dont play that nice with quad sli, if you are happy with your current setup i wouldnt see a reason to step up unless your having problems with smoothness in gameplay and quad sli issues.
 
they are decent cards so personally i wouldnt bother stepping up...
but if you can afford it then go for it haha
 
My cards run smooth in most games at very high but on crysis and world in conflict its a little glitchy. It might be my processor since its only at 2.66ghz. ITs a q9450
 
What mobo are you running? As long as your not running a stock cooler you should at least be able to overclock your q9450 to 3Ghz, what cooler do you have for your cpu? If its only $100 id step up then, didnt realize it would be that small of a difference, how long do you have left on your step up, if its more like 60 days or so id wait to see what nvidia comes out with next, if not id step up the the GTX 280's to future proof your rig.
 
I have the 790i ultra sli mb and a zalman fan. I have no clue how to overclock it to 3.0. I dont know which voltages or what clock to run it at.

Hey what are your settings since i see you have the same processor and mb.
 
Do you have aim? It would probably be easier to help you out in real time than over the forum>_> But my settings are Mem unlinked, 1333mhz, fsb @ 1700, P1 and P2 to Auto, Settings are all default other than timings, voltages are all stock except cpu is up one notch(1.20625 i think is what it is), auto on mcp and spp, 1.10 on cpu FSB. If you need help i do have aim, bomberboy731, and i added your screen name that is on your profile.
