Is it just me or does 64 bit Vista seem faster than 32 bit? I don't run any "heavy" applications but 64 bit just seems faster all around. Programs seem to respond faster and basic commands just flow more smoothly. Maybe I'm just imagining things but it sure does seem that way. Anyone else?

If you have software for 64bit system, will respond (run faster) faster. Processor is powerfull with 64bit architecture.

Honestly, the only thing I've noticed is more memory usage. Performance-wise, I haven't seen any dramatic improvements.

Nevakonaza,
What Geil memory do you have? I have been happy with mine.

i actualy have 2Gb of GIEL and 1Gb (2x 512) sticks of PNY

This is the GIEL i have.

mep916, are you running 64 bit now? What is 64 bit doing with that extra RAM usage?

For some reason, F@H uses more RAM when I have 4GB installed. Right now, I'm only running 2GB and there's only 460MB available.

Yeah, I've read a number of people have had stability issues with the 64 bit version.

the only difference i've noticed is using Crysis 64bit vs Crysis 32bit, and that was minimal, and 64 (vista at least) can be a little hassle with drivers, and compatibility

I must be real lucky with 64 bit. When I install it on my PC, all of my drivers are ready except the SM Bus Controller. Everything else was ready to go. Although the windows update found a few updated drivers for me to install.
