Hi
I use 3 browsers:
-Internet Explorer (latest version) because Windows Live Messenger needs it to access my e-mail inbox.
-Firefox
-Opera
Lately Firefox keeps coming up with the Connection box asking me to connect, and it keeps trying to dial on its own. I have no idea why because I have internet, MSN, Skype and the other browsers work just fine. But it pops up every page and it's extremely annoying. It only does it sometimes though, like after 10 minutes.
So I got Opera so I'd avoid this problem. Now IE is doing it as well. Any suggestions?
Notes: We have broadband but I'm off a router, this started ever since my dad plugged me into a seperate modem (branching off the router I think, I'm honestly not sure). I think the problem lies with some setting in the browsers though since they keep trying to conect to the Internet. If I press cancel the page loads as normal, but as soon as I load another page (i.e. click on a link) then it pops up again trying to connect.
