SPORE - Anybody?

Is Spore a multiplayer game? I haven't read much into it. Looks fun though, doubt I'll play it. My laptop probably won't be able to run it effectively.
 
Yeah, you're gonna be able to create your creatures, as many as you want and then you can take them to the real world, online. ;)
 
Billions of planets! User created creatures, items, buildings, vehicles! OMG! :D

Like, most wanted game ever. Though not wanted enough to pay $10 for the full CC. :P
 
I can't wait for this game!

If I understand it right, it's single player, but some of the creatures you encounter will be created by other people (you download lots of stuff).

I love the video where robin williams gets to play some beta version of the creature creator. the game does look really interesting, I'm jsut not sure weither it'll get boring quickly or not.
 
As I understand, you first choose what "type" of environment you want to play in, I think you can choose from Microscopic levels to Outerspace monsters. Then you create your creatures from a variety of options and body parts and then you can play with them online, interact with other people's monsters that live in the same environment you chose.

I think that's how it goes. And as of now, you can download the free trial of Spore Creature Creator which is just the "creating" part of the game, you don't get to play online.
