Hey Guys,

I got downloaded the new coldplay album off ninemsn music and i want to convert it so i can put it onto my IPOD, but it is WMA format, i use switch most of the time but it has a encryption on the file.

Can someone give me a program that will convert it to MP3......

I hope this is OK, i have read the forum rules and says nothing about this.

P.S. - Pls have free software

It depends on where you "downloaded" it from.

C'mon Cohen! You should know not to ask this stuff!
 
Did you pay for the album? If not it is illegal. However, for me, I have a napster subscription for $15 a month that lets me download unlimited songs. I have heard of "legal" converters that record the songs while they are playing, and record them into a different format. However, things that remove the drm lines of the code of a song are indeed illegal. The converter that is legal would usually cost around $40 however.
 
I downloaded it off ninemsn (so i bought the album), and they are in wma format and it has a code on it, like itunes does, when you buy music.
