Stuck between two Zalmans

The 9500 has a 92mm fan while the 9700 has a 110mm fan.
This also means one is slightly bigger than the other. The bigger one will have more cooling fins for slightly better heat dissipation (9700).

Get the 9700 but make sure it will fit inside your case first.
 
You stuck between two Zalmans? :eek: Be patient and don't move! The fins are sharp and you could bleed to death. Slowly get your phone and call 911.

On topic:

if you are gonna replace your Freezer 7 Pro, get the 9700, I've looked at many comparisons, and the Freezer 7 Pro seems to beat the 9500
 
Be sure that Tuniq will fit if you have a mid tower though!

Thats why i got the zalman 9700 when i had my other case ;)

thats what i was scared of and,even though it will fit in y case it will be rather close to my exhaust fan because of where my cpu socket is located so i decided against it.

i have now ordred this instead,great reviews,Has PWM control and better airflow that the AC7 pro lol

guys im not sure if this will ome with any thermal paste alredy applied but i ordred some Artic silver 5 anyway.

do you think ishould use what comes on the heatsink or remove it and put my own AS5?
 
Slap on some AS5, it'll give you the best results over the the stock stuff. I may get some Shin Etsu, I think that's what it's called. Apparently it's better then AS5, but I'm yet to find out ;)

Haha! I love how it has an arrow with "Air" on it! :D
