32bit XP can technically see 4gbs. But hardware addresses eat up some, so somewhere between 3 and 3.5gbs depending on your hardware.

32-bit really only sees about 3.5 (I can only get it to detect 2.75 out of 3 gigs )

However, 64-bit XP can see up to 8GB of memory.
