Possible Computer

1. Pretty good
2. CPU Cooler, Power Supply, Optical Drives, Video Card, Sound Card, Network Cards, Hard Drives, OS, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, ect...

3. No
4. Go Custom.

well then if you think custom then lets see what you've got for me, budget would be like $400

Just be aware of all the things this does not come with. Here is a few I see just off the top. oscaryu1 is right....it don't come with much. I would not buy this. Send your total budget and we can help find you a real computer. That thing will be a money trap you don't wanna mess with.

1. CPU cooler
2. Fans for cooling (the case comes with none)
3. A good power supply (the one in the case is junk, I found some posts about it, it won't last long)
4. Monitor
5. Keyboard and mouse
6. CD / DVD drive
7. Graphics card
8. Network device (there is none on motherboard)
9. Hard drives
10. You gotta buy an operating system...either XP or Vista

Save your $80 - $300 and get Ubuntu Linux or Fedora Core 9. You can be 100% independent from Microsoft Windows. I am, and thousands of others are. You can too. By the way, you can still use Hotmail on a Linux system if you really want to.

Total - $491.94

Sorry :o i know it is a little over budget, but it is good for what your wanting to use it for.

This is just the box, if you need monitor + keyboard and mouse, that is going to be more, and as you can see it is fairly big, just for the box.

If you had a bigger budget, you could get something better and get a good video card with it, but because of the $400 it isn't much really.

The onboard video card will be fine on what your going to be using the computer for.

Hope this helps you.

No you can't use your current motherboard because that motherboard is pentium 4 and will not go with these newer CPUs / Processors.
