New P45 mobo performs worse than X38?

Hi.

It's been a while since I've been posting here. In the mean time I've become tester for a danish hardware site.

So yesterday I received MSI's new P45 Platinum motherboard. Today ive installed it to my rig and I've begun testing. It didn't take long time before I realized that it's actually performing worse than my old EX38 DS4 from Gigabyte. In the harddisk read benchmark from sisoft sandra it performed better, but when I ran winRAR benchmark or Everest RAM benchmark it performed a lot worse, so I'm thinking that it is caused the RAM that it performs worse. Therefor I'm asking if an of you guys would like to take a look at my RAM timings and tell me what is wrong. (If anything is wrong) Or maybe the P45 just isn't as good as the X38?

Thanks

depends on what your after, supposedly you can get very high fsb's with the p45's

Im not supposed to run the tests whith anything overclocked. Just standard. Just thought that the P45 would be an improvement not a decredation. But can it really be true that is running winRAR benchmark at 581 when X38 ran at 672 ?

might have to get x48 to see results better, x38 is pretty much just a speed binned x35, same goes with the next generation

The card I'm testing is the P45. And what I don't understand is why it performs worse than the X38. I expected P45 to be an improvement.

its most likely an improvement over an x35, not an x38, the x48, on the other hand should

Thanks. But I'm not looking for at card that is better than my X38 just thought that the P45 would be. But as I said, Im testing the mobo for a hardware homepage.
