Im recently installed BF2142 on my computer (VISTA OS) and everytime i play an online game, the server kicks me saying PUNKBUSTER with no reason following, im not breaking the rules, my PING fluctuates from 12-40, so im not slowing anyone down, WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ?!?!

Are you using hacks?

If not, then I know what I used to play BF2142 on Vista, it said the same exact thing. All I had to do was update the game to the latest version and then it fixed the issue.

haha first of all, i dont know how to use hacks, but ya, like after 5 mins of gameplay it would kick me off , with a message of punkbuster with no reason under it, last time i fixed it by playing with ADMINISTRATOR options on vista, but i dont know :(. i hae the latest 1.5 patch ?
 
1) download "punkbuster services". Its designed to allow users running xp limited acccounts to play on pb servers, but works well for vista too

2) download pbsetup and add 2142 to its list. Click update. It will force the PB client to update.

well it seem ur way worked :P , i had to do it the second time , the first time iono, weird, but it works now "P
