I need desperately to update from my ATI x1300 Radeon. Was hoping for some advice.

2.8 ghz Duo cpu

375 Watt Max PS

These are what I'm trying to choose from:

EVGA 512-P3-N802-AR GeForce 8800GT Superclocked 512MB

MSI NX8800GT 512M OC GeForce 8800 GT 512MB

EVGA 512-P3-N841-AR GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB

ZOTAC ZT-88TES3P-FCP GeForce 8800 GT 512MB

EVGA 640-P2-N829-AR GeForce 8800GTS SSC 640MB

Any other card you would recommend?

I know my power supply is lacking, but which card would give me the least problems while still giving me good performance? Planning on playing Oblivion, CD4, Crysis hopefully. :p

Thanks!

As you know, you need a PSU that can comfortably push your 8800GT and other components. Personally, I'd go with the eVGA N802-AR, but get a new PSU first.

the x1300 is a really low end card, equivilent to like an 7500 or something.

For gaming you want an x1650, 8600 etc.... , for high end gaming something like the HD4850 or a 8800

I've heard the ATI HD4850 had problems with running hot? Is it not that bad?

It's nothing but some minor jazz with the drivers, manually setting the speed manually solves the problem easily (as little as 10%-20% increase in fanspeed has in some cases brought temps to half or less). This is because it's a new card and the drivers need some time to mature but it's a great card.

EDIT: Also, since it's single-slot, it does run a little hot, but it's really nothing to worry about unless you live in Arizona and have really crappy case/airflow.
