when will ATi have a New Look for their high-end video card?

from 2900XT and up we all see the same model design.... same cooler design.... although looks is not performance but i would still like to see a new apearence.

look at nvidia.... from 7900GTX, 8800GTX, 8800Ultra, 9800GTX, 9800GX2, GTX280 all look different.

Like you said... Looks don't matter. You can't really see it anyways. Even with a side window. But to answer your question... They don't change the look because the look is already freaking awesome! Lol. And check out some Visiontek cards, they look totally different from the others.

Also, the HD2900XT is only about a year old, so it is a relatively new design.

How exactly can you change the look? All the cards I've seen look pretty much the same, from both companies (apart from color).

you change the heatsink. If you really care about the look you can spend like $30 and get an aftermarket heatsink. It'll look better and it'll blow away the stock heatsink.
