$5K - Which Laptop?

The m70 is what I was looking at before as well, and was my first choice. I didn't want to say anything though as some people might of voted differently.

yeah M70 here too. but seriously, if you want to save a bit of cash, your already buying a wicked PC why not tone it down a bit and buy the M50 or something.

well i voted the cheepest one just because that extra gig you would never use, 8cell battery is nice because it lasts like 5 hr, processor is just a bit slower, and the monitor is not that much smaller.. for the price its good... but then again, i do usualy like to vote on the looks too but i did not see any of them

Asus M50/ M70
I vote M50 at the end coz i think with smaller screen size are more portable and with higher FPS with the same GPU...

I've been doing some more thinking, and although the M70 would be nice the $950 Acer laptop really isn't that much worse. It has a 2.2GHz processor vs 2.53GHz, 3GB vs 4GB of RAM, and a 9500M GS vs 9600M GS.

In my opinion now, the Asus M70 is not worth $650 more then the Acer.
